Complacent Christianity is a Plague in the Modern Church (Philippians 3:12-16)

As Christians, we must never become complacent in our faith. We must keep pressing forward toward all that God has for us. We need to keep moving forward. If we are not pressing forward in our lives, we are really going backwards. Complacency is a devastating plague in the modern church. We must always keep thinking future. The past is the past, and we must stop living there. Our past is under the blood of Jesus’ forgiveness. We have been set free to grow and experience all that God has for our lives. Press on!

(Philippians 3:12-16) I have not already obtained all this, nor have I already arrived at my goal of perfection, but I press on to take hold of that for which Jesus Christ took hold of me. My brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself as having taken hold of it yet, but one thing I do: Forgetting the past, I keep pressing on toward the future. I press on toward the finish line to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Jesus Christ. Those of us who are mature (being perfected) should think this way. And if on some issue you think differently, then God will make it clear to you. Only let us live up to the truth that we have already attained.
