The Edict of Milan (June 13, 313)

In February 313, emperors Constantine (ruling the West) and Licinius (ruling the East) discussed the Edict of Milan from the imperial palace of Milan, Italy. The Edict was issued and posted in Nicomedia (modern Izmit) on June 13, 313, gave religious freedom to Christians in the Roman empire.
