Bishop Blaise of Sebaste/Sivas (d. AD 316)

Blaise was a medical physician and served as the bishop of Sebaste (modern Sivas). Seeing he was em- powered by the grace of God, people flocked to him for miraculous physical and spiritual healing.
Cappadocia’s governor was persecuting Christians, and he had Blaise arrested and interrogated.

Blaise refused to renounce his faith in Jesus Christ and was beheaded around 316.
